About me:
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the states of California, Maryland, and Ohio. I completed my dual doctorates in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and Public Health, Preventive Care (DrPH) from Loma Linda University. I also have a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. After earning my degrees and completing my clinical internship at the Cincinnati VAMC, I received additional postdoctoral training at the Washington DC VAMC, where I later worked as an integrated health psychologist. I have provided individual, couples, family, and group therapy since 2007. Whether you're facing challenges in your personal life, work, or relationship, I am here to support you.
In addition to my clinical and administrative experiences, I am also a published scientist practitioner with extensive experience in providing national and local presentation in the areas of health psychology, substance use disorder, and veteran health. Selected publications are available for review and download.
In addition to this private practice, I also manage a large program that helps Veterans struggling with problematic substance use, chronic health conditions, and co-morbid mental health diagnoses. I also serve as the National Coordinator for the HIV and Liver Disease Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship. If you are a veteran, I will provide information on how you can obtain mental health treatment through the VA.
